Title: The Heart of the Manor
Pairing(s): Harry/Draco

Summary: In his efforts to remove the taint Voldemort left on the Manor, Draco hires a team of Curse-Breakers. But what will happen when they stumble upon something older and more insidious than simple Dark magic?
Word Count: 4000
Why I loved it: It's dark as heck, but in a very different sort of dark way. The thing that surfaces in the Manor uses all sorts of tricks and deception, it leaves so many questions, but the ending is poignant!

Why I loved it: It took me a bit to really get into this fic, as in the beginning the action is the next gen characters getting into mischief and you sort of get lulled into a comfortable place with them as they unearth an exciting new find... but then, it all goes pear-shaped, and the darkness takes over. Chilling and ends with an nice twist!

Summary: He had always thought his first born son was different. James wasn’t normal, and Harry refused to believe the worst of him, until it was too late.

Why I loved it: Oh man! This fic is chilling to the bone. Classic Horror at it's best and it's based on one of my prompts! Being possessed by a piece of Voldemort's soul does more damage to a person than anybody could have guessed. Harry and Ginny have gone ahead and tied the knot; little do they know what will happen when two former vessels of Voldemort's soul fragments produce a child together. Seriously... If you like the classic possessed child stories, give this a shot. If you have a weak stomach, probably best to avoid this, but for me... It's an instant favorite!

Why I loved it: It's so damn cute!!! Just look, you'll love it too! I love Draco's expressions... how he gets pinker and pinker cheeks and Harry goes from WTF... to Oh god! to *faints*

Contains: Consensual Homicide, infidelity, miscarriage, rough sex (somewhat dub-con at times), incest, dub-con with the incest, violence, functional sadism, major character death, breath play
Summary: All Marcus wants is what he knows he should have: a wife, a home, a son to carry on the Flint name. What he learns is that sacrifice breeds prosperity, and sometimes sacrifice cuts through to the heart.
Word Count: 6000
Why I loved it: Written for the Horror fest, this fic fits the bill. Marcus is a pureblood and the traditions his ancestors have spun, weave him into a web so deep, that to break from it proves impossible and in order to keep the family name alive, he must sacrifice that which is most precious to him. It's sad, it's dark, but also there is a thread of real character building and feeling that makes the loss that much more real for the reader. I encourage you to take a chance on this rarepair.
