Mab's Mad Musings

Over the past week - Today is day 8 - I've written 44,852 words. I'm over the halfway point of finishing and am planning to tackle the ramp up to the big climax tonight and hopefully get to the point of resolving things and wrapping it up by sometime next week.

I just arrived at my coffee shop of inspiration (it's 5:20 pm PDT) and will be here for at least the next eight hours. -gotta get as much done before school starts on Tuesday.

*sips this green juice and shakes the cobwebs out of brain*

I've been looking sideways at my outline for harrybang and I'm afraid I've underestimated how many words it will actually take to tell the story. I'd projected between 60-70k... Now I'm thinking it may be closer to 100k. I've never written anything so long before, but I'm eager to take that challenge and own it. My kids go back to school in about 4 days. :( I'll have less writing time after that, but if I can keep my momemtum up and get as much done as humanly possible in these last few days, I think I may make it work.

The first really HAWT scene is now complete (and about twice as long as the other chapters) but I seriously doubt readers will complain about the mismatched lengths when it's PORN!

Also I got my hair cut. I love it. Here are two pictures. My ceiling fan's blowing so I've got the messy look happening, but after 4 days of intense writing and not sleeping enough, it's a look I earned. Current word count: 27,617
