Summary: Heed ye well the story of Draco Malfoy, for no portrait should ever be taken for granted. I should know, for I was there, although I do not live to tell the tale.
An adaptation of the Picture of Dorian Gray by Oscar Wilde
Word Count: 1800
Why I loved it: I love this fic so much! It's told from a perspective you wouldn't expect, but which is very cleverly matched to the original Dorian Gray from which this fic is adapted. The author captured the essence of the original and transformed it into a perfect HP version.

Summary: Ever since the final battle Harry saw the shadows. He doesn't know what they're here for until he does.

Why I loved it: The creep factor is so real and just chilling in this fic. The author builds the suspense up and it got to me brilliantly. I felt Harry's fear in my own bones, even to the extent that I jumped when I saw my own hair move in the corner of my eye, convinced it was one of these shadows! Read it! Leave love for the author!

Rating: PG
Contains: fractured time
Summary: Time was never Hermione's friend. Now, it might just be her enemy.
Word Count: 1400
Why I loved it: This fic is a very clever take on time travel unravelling. It leaves you feeling fractured, like you've missed something big, just like Hermione in the fic... which is the point! It's a different sort of horror, but one I found fascinating.
