Adventures in Podficcing
Jul. 14th, 2013 10:18 pmI've been having a ton of fun learning to podfic. My first three podfics have posted at the
hp_podfic_fest and so I'm claiming them here. I still need to work out how to post them to Ao3, but I know that I'll figure it out soon.
I received some wonderful, private concrit on my first piece that included links to editing on audacity and how to make sure the sound is loud enough for all listening mediums. I was quick to thank this person and to make sure my third submission to the fest was loud enough. I plan to go back and play with the settings on my first two fics to hopefully bring them up to snuff. (the sound files are too quiet).
Anyway, my point in mentioning that is that I want people who listen to, or read my works to know that I am open to constructive criticism and prefer it when it's given discreetly through PM, unless I ask for it in a public post. Thank you to the wonderful person who did it just right (and helped me improve my performance for future fics.)
