Seeking beta: Percy Jackson fanfiction.. And thank you post!

First off, thank you digthewriter for sending me a wonderfully corny Halloween card!

*squishes you to death* *reanimates you*

Second, I have succumbed to a major tempting bit of fanfiction that takes place post Blood of Olympus in the PJO & HoO series. I'm way too excited by this and the prospect of getting to tag my fic "BoO HoO spoilers".

But as the series only ended last week, I have nobody to talk to about all the things, and I'm intimidated by tumblr. Have any of you f-listers read all the books? Anybody able/willing to talk/beta for me? The fic I'm writing will be a bit fluffy, a bit filthy, and canon inspired.

Thought I'd try here first before braving the treacherous waters of tumblr!

Oh man, I'm working my way through the books (I'm still on the first series), but I'm too cheap to buy them and the waiting for the library ebooks to become available is taking forever. :(

But I'm excited that I'll have fic to look forward too! :D

I haven't read BoO yet, but it's here and the next book on my waiting list. YayI
If you could wait, lets say two weeks max, I could help. But I can only alpha read fics because I'm just not good enough with SPaG.
And I would love too. I've read a few Percy fics but only one good one. That's a shame.

It's all good. I've decided to post this thing as a WiP in order to get my name out there with frequent updates. Part one is up and I got a beta offer with the first comment \o/ yay!!!!

This is just going to be a silly dumb fic written because I have to. I PJO fandom "doctor's orders" is our "always" so... You see.... Needs!

I tried to watch the first film and was not impressed; I take it the books are better? Maybe I should put them on my to-read list :)

Pretty much everybody (including the author) pretends the movies didn't happen.

Books are soooo much better. Definitely aimed at young readers, but packed full of imagination and fanfic potential.

Oooh. That's good to know. I suppose it's like judging the HP books based on the first film... I would never have read them :D

I will try them out when I have the chance!
