Fandom Snowflake Challenge: Day Three
Day 3
In your own space, post a rec for at least three fanworks that you did not create. Leave a comment in this post saying you did it. Include a link to your post if you feel comfortable doing so. See if you can rec fanworks that are less likely to be praised: tiny fandoms, rare pairings, fanworks other than stories, lesser-known kinks or tropes. Find fanworks that have few to no comments, or creators new to a particular fandom who maybe aren't well known or appreciated. Appreciate them.
Remember that recs don't have to be long or eloquent or ~deep (although if you are skilled at those types of recs, please don't hold back! :D). Squeeful capslocking, a bullet-pointed list of reasons you love a thing, audio or video rambles, a string of reaction gifs, even just a set of links with a header saying "these are great examples of X trope/kink/pairing/fanwork"... Create a themed list or just link to things you happen to like. Rec more than three things if you want to! Have fun with this. Share stuff you love!

Title: Post-Raid Celebration

Why I loved it: The art is spectacular. I love the colours and how Draco and Lucius are so pale and practically hairless, and flushed along their torsos and faces, while the other two are bigger and thick and hairy. Draco's such a people pleaser in this art (myself included) and his cute pink little willy poking out of his boxers gives me great pleasure.

Why I loved it: God! I don't know how I feel about myself by how hot I found this fic. Pay close heed to the warnings if you have squicks or triggers. Blaise is such an arse in this, and totally takes things too far, but Ginny longs for it, returns to it, wishes she could get it from Harry and never will. At the end you see cracks in Blaise's mask and it's emotional and gripping and just gorgeously deviant.

Summary: When Called to St. Mungo's in a case of suspected domestic violence, the last person Auror Harry Potter expected to see was a badly beaten-up Astoria Malfoy.

Why I loved it: This fic is so sad in its stark realism. I feel pain for all the characters involved. If Draco could only take Harry's "friendly advice" there could be hope for all of them in the future. As it is, I can only see grief if things continue as they have done. It leaves me full of feels and I took great pleasure in making it into an audio fic. Vaysh's storytelling is compelling and so fulfilling!

Why I loved it: Harry is so dark and twisted in this fic, he's longed for the rush of power over other people and wants to feel ashamed after he first experiences it, but after he gets away with it, the addiction starts. It's brilliant how he sees the hypocrisy of what he does, joining the Aurors and rising to the top, while playing off other people's ability to see a monster in their midst. I just love this sort of mental twisted plot. It's fantastic.

Why I loved it: okay.. I have said in the past that I'm just not into marauders era fics.. Allow me to eat those words. This fic is so damn hot and kinky and just lovely. I love how the friends pair off, but are still drawn together to the point they bring it into the bedroom. Lily really shines in this for me, and I love how the author portrays James as well. If you're up for a good time, give this one a go!

Why I loved it: There's something about Mayfly's style that I can't get enough of. The colours are brilliant and I simply adore Percy's curls and Oliver tied up in the background yanks a rather embarrassing sound from my throat. nggh!

Why I loved it: Gah! This fic! It's so much … what's the phrase… In her Mind Palace, (that will have to do.) I just ache with the hand Hermione has been dealt, but seeing how she uses her brain to survive by looking at life through a different perspective, it's quite beautiful and shows how strong she is. This fic is dark, but it's not horribly graphic and I thank the author for that!
