Fandom Snowflake Challenge: Day Two

Day 2
In your own space, promote three communities, challenges, blogs, pages, Twitters, Tumblrs or platforms and explain why you love them. Leave a comment in this post saying you did it. Include a link to your post if you feel comfortable doing so.
Fandom tends to clump together, and that's has both positive and negative effects. It's the basis of our support networks, our intertwined lives, but it also tends to isolate us and we forget the existence of other fans outside of our chosen place. Maybe it's time to reach out to fans on other platforms, in other places and say hello.
On tumblr, my favourite blog to follow has to be Viria.
She's a talented fan artist and all around cool person. Her art includes Percy Jackson, Harry Potter, Welcome to Night Vale, FMA, Free!, snk, and more. If you haven't checked her out, do!
On Chatzy, the current room I hang out in is an 18+ room, dedicated to those who ship Kirk and Spock, but we do talk about other fandoms and pairings in there. It's run by

There are many communities on livejournal that I love and follow, and I'm sure my f-list is mostly aware of them, so for my third rec, I'm choosing the asylum on insanejournal devoted to kink in the Harry Potter world. Daily Deviant. They are just wrapping up their Christmas fest, Kinky Kristmas and I have read so many fascinating kinks and pairings since following it. It's helping to expand my fanfiction tastes.
