So I got tagged twice in this random question meme. I don't normally take part in internet memes, but I figured it's time for me to loosen up a bit and have fun.

1. What's your philosophy on life? That is a hard question... It’s changed a lot over the years. I guess it would just be hold on and enjoy the ride.
2. What fic do you keep going back to read? Turn bysaras_girl
3. What are you looking forward to seeing during the Oylmpics? er... I don’t watch television so I won’t see the Olympics.
4. It's Mother's Day on Sunday here, so what would you like to give you mother? (or if you are a mother, what would you like to receive?) I am giving my mother a roll of unpaper towels with eiffel tower pattern cloth. As far as receiving something... How about a night off.
5. What was your favourite thing to do as a chlid? I loved playing pretend. Dressing up in character costumes and roleplaying basically. I remember after the movie Willow came out, my brother and I would play it in the backyard with a neighbor boy. I was Madmartagen, Dugan (brother) was Meegosh and Nick was Willow.
6. Would you recommend your hometown to someone to go and visit? Yes! Portland is beautiful.
7. What is your favourite family heirloom, whether you own it or not? hrm... I don’t really care much for heirloom stuff. I have a wooden rocking chair that my grandfather made. It’s really uncomfortable, but I still keep it. That count?
8. What is your favourite poem? Jabberwocky by Lewis Carroll, though I have many poems committed to memory that I randomly recite. Here’s a little one I wrote many years ago.... about a big butt.
9. Where would go, anywhere in the world, if money were no object? I’m not sure. I’d love to see Europe. I’d love to visit Australia.
10. Your superpowers, what would they be? And would you use them for good or evil? I’d be Elastigirl! I could totally breastfeed the baby while driving the car and it would all bounce back!
11. What House would you be in at Hogwarts? Honestly, not the one you want to be in but the one you're best suited to. Probably Ravenclaw.

What is your favourite fic (in any fandom) and why? Gotta be Turn, bysaras_girl. Because I love her writing and it’s so damn creative and HOT!
Coffee or tea? Both! No cream or sugar.
Do you remember a special teacher? Who and why? Mr. Colvin! fourth grade. He introduced me to The Secret Garden. I still have the copy he gave me for class. He used to play his guitar and we’d sing folk songs once a week.
Have you been anywhere tropical? If yes, would you want to live there or just visit? I’ve been to Hawaii. I was 18 and slathered myself in 50spf sunscreen. I was playing at being a vampire during that point in my life.
First book you can remember reading? One Fish Two Fish Red Fish Blue Fish. I remember being stuck and finally overcoming at “They run for fun in the hot hot sun” I was about four years old.
Did you ever kiss anyone in the rain? Yes. My boyfriend from senior year. He was a sophmore..... scandalous.
Not including Halloween, have you ever dressed in costume in public? Oh yes. I was an actor in high school. Did a bunch of plays and studied Theatre in University. But I was hit by a car at 18 (as a pedestrian) and after my face was scarred, I lost my interest/confidence.
Tie preference: Wide, narrow, string, bow or other? I don’t have a preference. My husband rarely wears a tie.
What colour and style are your underwear right now (assuming you are wearing them – yes, I had to go there)? I’m wearing blue undies with black trim.
Do you prefer a hard or soft mattress? Soft. I like to sink into my bed, like I’m sleeping on a cloud.
Favourite board game? Lately... Apples to Apples!
