Oh my goodness. I've been so busy with modding things and real life that I've not had much time to keep up with all the amazing fests that have been posting in the past few months. I've had some recs prepared during these months and thought it was high time to actually share them. I apologize for the unplanned hiatus from reccing/reading.

Really, I encourage everybody who enjoys H/D to give this fic a read if you haven't yet. Happy ending that will leave you nice and warm inside.

It was created for the hd_hurtfest on livejournal and the struggle Harry is having, trying so hard to keep the dark inside him at bay just breaks my heart. Take a look. The blood isn't gory and it's not a happy piece of art, but it speaks volumes and is beautiful.

I loved how nobunakira spun this remix though, as if Draco knew exactly what he was in for and longed for it. Guh.

If not… perhaps give this one a pass. I loved how Writcraft touched on the canon lore about Unicorn blood and how she played on the very real fear of how it would be if something evil wore your face. AHHHHHHH!!!
