I'm leaving this smoochfic rec now, as it's only a few hours before reveals. The other rec is beautiful art from the hprarefest Please enjoy and be sure to check them out if you haven't already. My stomach is tied up in knots of anticipation for reveals for smooch! It's been such a brilliant fest and I have to find out who some of these authors/artists are! I still have quite a bit of reading left to do also, but I'm taking it a day at a time.

Why I loved it: I adore the contrast in skin tones from Draco's pale skin to Blaise's dark skin. Their bodies are beautiful. The tender touch of Blaise's hand on Draco's chest and Draco's posture of supplication, his Dark Mark fresh and showing just lends itself to the moment shared between the two.

Why I loved it: Where do I even start with this rec? Ahem... I read all 115,000 words in one go and didn't stop even to use the toilet. (sorry if that's tmi) but it was really so engaging that I could NOT put it down. Stanley the beetle is not the thing I loved most about this fic, though he did his darndest to put himself in the middle of my heart. The character I loved most in this is Draco. He grows up before your eyes, and probably a decade after most people, but you know what? All wounds, seen and unseen take time to mend and his do and beautifully so. I know I've seen this fic gushed over all over the place and I understand why, now that I've finally read it. It's an insta-rec and an instant favorite. All the fluffy feels one could ever want rolled into a perfectly brilliant plot. I've been living on angst fic for the past few months, and this was a welcome breath of fresh air, a bit of a healing balm, if you will. If you haven't read it yet, DO! There's my advice.
